Ahhhhh-Spring!

Canadian Geese at Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park
Mercer County,  NJ

Day Light Savings Time marks the beginning of Spring giving you more sunshine and light;  what are you gonna do with it? Wake up to the sunrise or savor twilight when you hear the familiar sounds of the early croaking frogs and chirping crickets? Whatever you choose to do with those daylight hours; for me its the most magical time when everything comes alive with sound and color.

Visit us at the Inn at Glencairn located in Mercer County, NJ,  the center for commerce and culture in the Garden State. Located midway between New York City and Philadelphia, we’re also home to Princeton University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey, Thomas Edison State College and Mercer County Community College. The county holds some of the state's greatest cultural and historic sites with Revolutionary War battle sites in Trenton and Princeton

"On December 25, 1776, the icy waters of the Delaware River provided the setting for one of the pivotal events of the American Revolution.  After crossing the rough winter river at night, General George Washington and the Continental Army landed at Johnson’s Ferry, at the site now known as Washington Crossing State Park."
